The Via Tolosana, or Chemin d’Arles in French, is one of five main pilgrim routes that traverses France.

It begins in Rome, crosses the Camargue, passes through Montpelier and Toulouse then climbs into the Pyrenees

to cross from France to Spain at Col du Somport.

It joins the Camino Frances on the way to Santiago de Compostela at Puenta la Riena.
