Description

It took me 16 days to walk the GR765 from Cluny to Le Puy and the next challenge would be to walk the GR65 to Cahors in 17 days. Why the hurry? The original title of this sketch reveals everything, ‘Waiting for Jordi Savall’. This window is adjacent to the giant wooden doorway entrance to the Cathedrale St Etienne and houses the Service Departemental de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine. It is here that I stood in line sketching while waiting for Le festival ClassiCahors, Between East and West, Old and New concert. I had arranged a press ticket and was seated in the front row.
